From Vancouver, with love… and Yoga

From my home base in Vancouver to wherever the path leads, I teach yoga to connect, grow, inspire and bring a little more lightness into life.

A former Olympic athlete who followed a lifelong passion for wellbeing and helping others, Ezgi brings an inclusive, sensitive teaching style rooted in curiosity and empathy. Based in Vancouver, Canada, she believes yoga is about showing up, breathing, and learning as you go.

What My Students Say

Real voices from people who have worked with me

"Practicing with Ezgi has been such a wonderful experience. She has a gentle, soothing voice and a warm presence that makes you feel safe and supported. It’s clear she teaches from the heart, with genuine care and intention. Every class leaves me feeling calmer, stronger, and more centered. And even in her online classes, she’s so attentive and engaged that it truly feels like she’s right there with you."

"Yoga is clearly Ezgi’s calling—she teaches with an intuitive grace and depth that only comes from profound personal attunement with the practice. Her classes feel like a natural extension of her genuine care and wisdom. Ezgi cultivates a safe space absolutely free of pressure and judgment, always offering options and reminding that every pose is a choice. Ezgi’s calm presence, mindful approach, and compassionate adjustments have helped me reconnect with myself, and feel more in control of my own healing process. Both my chiropractor and physiotherapist independently noticed and commented on the remarkable improvements in my alignment and mobility after just a few months of practicing with Ezgi. I wholeheartedly recommend Ezgi’s trauma-informed classes to anyone seeking a gentle, empowering path back to their body, mind and breath."

"Ezgi has the most fun spirit and makes class exciting and uplifting. She is always accommodating to my injuries with modifications that allow me to keep up with class! She’s an ex Olympian and I feel like her attention to function and form are a reflection of that."

"Ezgi has the most fun and uplifting energy, and her classes reflect that from start to finish. She’s incredibly thoughtful in offering modifications for all levels, which makes the class feel welcoming whether you’re new or experienced. I felt both challenged and grounded. I left the session feeling strong, relaxed, and genuinely happy."

A village in Eskisehir

This monster is everywhere in the world. In some places, it’s well-fed and aggressive, wreaking havoc openly. In others, it lurks silently underground, whispering in our ears at night, occasionally emerging to swallow a woman or two before returning to its underground headquarters.

Seeing Pine Trees

At each new beginning, we find ourselves forming bonds with the details that feel familiar and draw our strength from them as we embark on writing our new story. Though the skies may shift and the trees may change, our memories remain ever with us – supporting us on our new journeys, holding our hands and carrying us toward our future. When you look at it this way, distances, new beginnings, and the unknown no longer feel uneasy. One gathers the courage once again to embark on new adventures.

Long live freedom!
